Born in Brazil and raised in Canada, Gabe has over 15 years of teaching experience in Japan and online. He has struggled to learn English through traditional methods and can relate to students' challenges learning a second language.
He has a master's in second language education from the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies. His research focused on creating effective courses based on previous studies of how brains learn a second language. Currently, he teaches at Nanzan University and NUFS.
