At this stage, students are not expected to produce perfect sentences; instead, your goal is to have a clear understanding of the basics and use any skills to express your thoughts.”

What will you learn?

In this class, you will master the basics of English grammar through carefully designed conversation activities. You will practice talking about your abilities, politely asking for permission, making requests, providing ideas, and refusing invitations through the auxiliary can and could. The course will expose you to a variety of common expressions, and encourage you to expand your view on the meaning of communication skills. By the end of 12 lessons, you will gain confidence using all resources you have available to exchange ideas with other students and the teacher.

Outline

<colgroup>
<col width="78" />
<col width="152" />
<col width="459" /></colgroup>

Unit

Date

Unit description

1

February 19, 2026

Orientation & Auxiliary Verb [can] (affirmative and negative forms) Ability

2

February 26, 2026

Ability – Auxiliary Verb [can] (interrogative form)

3

March 5, 2026

Quantifiers – “How much, not at all, a little, some(thing), enough, a lot”

4

March 12, 2026

Permission / Request / Favor – Auxiliary Verb [can]

5

March 19, 2026

Pronouns – “nothing, anything, something, everything”

6

March 26, 2026

Past Ability – Auxiliary Verb [could] (interrogative form) Past Ability

7

April 2, 2026

Adverbs “fast, well, almost etc”

8

April 9, 2026

Polite Requests – Auxiliary Verb [could]

9

April 16, 2026

Providing Ideas Politely – Auxiliary Verb [could]

10

April 23, 2026

Polite Refusal – Auxiliary Verb [could]

11

April 30, 2026

Potential Probability – Auxiliary Verbs [can, could]

12

May 14, 2026

Review & Test

This trial course runs from Thursday, February 19th, 2026 (20:00 – 21:30 JST) Course Overview This course is designed

[55

post-9234","courses","type-courses","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","course-category-trial
["GET
